Our Process


The Hardwood Shop works closely with our clients from the initial idea to the completed project and works closely with designers or architects if needed.

One advantage of having The Hardwood Shop do remodeling work for you is to minimize the number of subcontractors in your home. Since Mike does a majority of the remodeling work himself, he works with a limited number of electricians, plumbers, and HVAC subs.

The Hardwood Shop works closely with our clients to fulfill their wishes on the project and keep the communication lines open continuously. Mike sets aside time each day to keep the client informed of the day’s progress and answer any questions. We also discuss concerns that may have arisen during construction or from the client and then discuss the best solution to the situation.

Throughout the years we have developed a reputation with our clients, thus a majority of our projects are referrals or additional projects from them.
